We will offer a workshop to familiarizes the Bay Area community with the Indigenous cultural theme and creative process of their award winning eco-production ” Of Bodies Of Elements”, currently on national tour. Alive with sound and rhythms, organic movements , metaphor rooted in philosophical worldview, we gather and invoke individual expression, group dynamic and the connective spirit between life forms. The workshop is open to both dancers, non dancers and SFIAF ticketholders who wish to observe.
DANCING EARTH was also invited to perform in San Francisco on May 23rd at the George Moscone Convention Center’s “International Powwow Conference’, on behalf of the National Parks Service. The dancers captivated an international audience of 5000 with many jumbo-trons streaming footage of the continents most stunning vistas, and closeups of the performers in adapted excerpts of our production.
