Michif Medicines
An international Indigenous collaboration between
V’ni Dansi and Dancing Earth.
Led by V’ni Dansi Artistic Director Yvonne Chartrand and Dancing Earth Artistic Director Rulan Tangen, this contemporary dance collaboration culminated in a work-in-progress presentation at the Talking Stick Festival in February 2018 & 2019.
The development of Michif Medicines involved consultations with Elders and cultural keepers. Respect for cultural protocols and ways of knowing are fundamental aspects of creation.
